George Bell, Chairman & Director
Mr. George Bell is President and CEO of UNOR Inc. Mr. Bell has more than 36 years of experience in the international natural resource industry. From 1967 to 1996, he held several senior executive positions with the Noranda Group of companies. Mr. Bell holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota (1967) and has held directorships and executive positions in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Currently, he is also a director of Fronteer Development Group Inc. 

Patrick Evans, CEO & Director
Mr. Patrick Evans has been CEO and a director of Norsemont Mining Inc. since June 2007.  Prior to joining, he held a number of senior mining executive positions, including President and CEO of Weda Bay Minerals Inc. (acquired by Eramet S.A.), President and CEO of Southern Platinum Corp. and Messina Limited (acquired by Lonmin Plc), President and CEO of SouthernEra Diamonds Inc. and Vice President of Placer Dome Inc.  Mr. Evans is also the President and CEO of Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. and a director of First Uranium Corp..

ROBERT BAXTER, President & Director
Mr. Baxter brings over 23 years of experience, principally in Latin America, in the mining industry and he is currently President and Director of Norsemont Mining Inc.  Mr. Baxter was previously the General Manager of Baxter Consultants Engineering, a consulting company providing project appraisals to mining companies located primarily in Peru, from September 2000 to June 2002. From May 2000 to September 2000, he held the position of Business Development Coordinator Americas for North Limited, a senior Australian mining company acquired by Rio Tinto, PLC in October 2000. Also at North Limited, Mr. Baxter held the posts of Regional Geologist, Americas from June 1999 to May 2000 and Regional Manager (Chile/Argentina) from November 1996 to June 1999.  Mr. Baxter is also a director of Chariot Resources Ltd. and Petaquilla Minerals Ltd.

Mr. Baxter has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM).

CHRIS REYNOLDS,  Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Reynolds previously served as Senior Vice President, CFO and Secretary of SouthernEra Diamonds Inc. He has  19 years of mineral industry and public accounting experience, with SouthernEra, TVX Gold Inc., Inmet Mining Corporation and Price Waterhouse (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers). Mr. Reynolds became a Certified General Accountant in 1994 and received a B.A. (Economics) from McGill University in 1987. Mr. Reynolds is also a director of Arizona Star Resource Corp.

MAX PINSKY, LL.BCorporate Secretary
Mr. Pinsky is a lawyer with over 20 years of practice experience, mainly in the corporate and securities areas.  He has a B.Sc. (Special) degree and an LL.B. degree from the University of Alberta.  Mr. Pinsky is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.  He has considerable experience in assisting companies in all stages of planning and corporate development.  Mr. Pinsky has been a principal in several successful transactions in various businesses, including environmental engineering, oil and gas, and real estate. 

MARK JACKSON, Director
Mr. Jackson has a long history and extensive experience in the research, analysis, investment and portfolio management of natural resources and natural resource companies, both listed and unlisted. Prior to founding Sentient, Mark was part of the AMP Private Investments Resources team, led AMP’s investment research team and managed the AMP Resources and Gold listed company trusts. He also held responsibility for the company’s direct resources investments and served on the Corporate Governance Committee of the Australian Investment Managers’ Association.  Mr. Jackson is also currently a director of Regis Resources Inc., Natural Soda Holdings Inc. and Natural Soda Inc., and various Sentient Group entities.

BRIAN KERZNER,  Director
Mr. Kerzner has over 20 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur in retailing and real estate. Mr. Kerzner is the Founder and President of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Canada Inc., which operates retail chocolate stores from coast to coast in Canada.  He has also founded several other private companies that have completed extensive residential and commercial developments in Toronto, Phoenix, Whistler and Vancouver.  Mr. Kerzner has been extensively involved in providing seed capital for many successful public and private companies in the resource, environmental and technology sectors.  Mr. Kerzner is an Honors graduate of the University of Toronto Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program.  He is also a member of the BC Children’s Hospital Circle of Care and is actively involved in many other charitable organizations.

Robert Parsons Director
Mr. Robert Parsons is a Chartered Accountant and retired Partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers after a career spanning 34 years. He currently serves on the Board, and as Vice President, of the World Mines Ministries Forum, and on the International Affairs Committee of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. He has served on the Board of the PDAC (1985 to 2003), Executive Council of the Canadian Minerals Industry Federation, the Advisory Council of the Centre for Resource Studies at Queens University, the Professional Advisory Board of the Government of Canada’s Petroleum Monitoring Agency, and as a member of the Board of Directors of both the Indonesian Mining Association and the Canada – Indonesia Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the boards of a number of listed Canadian companies. Mr. Parsons is active in developing countries as an independent financial and fiscal consultant.

Malcolm Siverns Director
Mr. Malcolm Siverns has more than 34 years of experience in the international mining industry. He was a member of the Noranda Group of companies from 1972 to 2003 where he held a number of senior positions, including managing director of Noranda’s offices in the United Kingdom and Switzerland and Vice President for International Relations in Peru. Mr. Siverns served on the boards of Compania Minera Antamina, the SNMPE (Peruvian National Mining, Energy & Petroleum Society) and the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce. From 2003 until 2006 Mr. Siverns served as the senior advisor for international relations for Falconbridge Ltd.

augusto baertl Director
Mr. Baertl is a Peruvian mining engineer who has held a number of senior positions with Peruvian and international mining companies. He served as Mine Manager, President and CEO of Compañía Minera Milpo, one of Peru's largest mining companies, from 1967 to 1996. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Baertl served as President and Executive Chairman of Compañía Minera Antamina and oversaw the exploration, feasibility studies and development of the project. He is a member of the American Institute of Mining Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME), the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas del Perú and the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú- Capítulo de Minas.

IAN HUME, Director
Mr. Hume is a founding partner of The Sentient Group, a closed-end private equity fund specialising in the natural resources sector. Prior to founding The Sentient Group, Mr. Hume was a consultant to AMP Private Capital Division, focusing on international resources and telecommunications. He also managed a privately-controlled investment company, Devipo, and in the period 1985 – 1988 was a director of a Hong Kong listed international investment company, Impala Pacific.  In addition to the Sentient Group and Devipo, Mr. Hume is also a director of Apex Silver Mines Limited (AMEX: SIL), Andean Resources Limited (TSX: AND) and IMH Investment Pty Limited.
